25/1/2012 Fishing has been tough most of the year with the dam still recovering from the recent rains and flooding of early 2011. The fishing has become better every day with most fish being small rats around the 70 cm mark but there are the occasional metre plus fish being caught. If you want to give yourself the best chance give yourself Two to three days and we can mix your Dam fishing with some local estuary fishing catching big barra and mangrove jack. You can maximise your chance of impoundment fishing learning all the techniques and areas to catch fish in Lake Monduran. If you are doing an extended stay at the dam I cant show you where to fish and how to fish it in half a day or a full day charter as I would find you fishing the same places as myself the next day. I can't just give you all my great spots but over three days you would have the benefit of my training and all the spots u need to catch fish and know where and how to catch barramundi and why they frequent particular areas. This is a hard fishery spend the money and get the results. Dont waste you time with second best make the most of your time off I dont know how many people I have seen who think they can come up to Lake Monduran thinking they can do it all themselves and go home with no result . Spend your money wisely and dont waste your valuable time off on holidays trying to impersonate or follow other people who probably are not catching fish either. Everyone has a different story to tell in the caravan parks and hotels etc but our customers are sleeping contently knowing that they are getting the best out of their days and go home with fish under their belts.
