Expectations
What the average client could expect on an average days fishing.
- Food and beverages will be supplied on our daily tour.
- A full day includes eight hours on the water we will often extend this to catch our clients fish.
- The average catch for a charter is around one fish per day a good day we will catch as many as five with one of our best days this year we caught 9 fish in one day.
- Our average for fish caught this year is a 106cm fish so there is a great chance that you will catch that magic fish over 1metre. There have only been five fish caught less than 1metre this year.
- You must be able to cast to get the results. We have the ability to teach people to cast. We have a variety of spin and bait caster reels. People with a back ground in freshwater fishing always do well.
- We will teach you the latest techniques to catch barramundi we will show you where and why you catch fish in different areas using different techniques.
- You can treat this as an educational experience or you can just treat it as a fun day out. We like to do both but if you have any ideas on what you would like to do on charter let Rob know before hand.
- We aim to please so let us know of your expectations of the tour prior to leaving as your best interests are ours. For bet results book a three day charter.
- We don’t kill fish as the fish are of poor eating quality and we like to see our fish released to fight another day. We like to see our industry as a sustainable one for the future.

One thing you need to be able to do!
Cast lure with a spin or baitcaster rod
This can be taught in a day but it is best to learn before-hand as band casting reduces your chances of catching fish.
I generally don't troll lures for barramundi
Don't Likes
Drunks on the boat plenty of time for drinking after the fishing
I don't like killing fish and we don't have facility on the boat to keep dead fish.
