We fish the waters off Hervey Bay and Bundaberg, working the grounds north of Fraser Island. This area is a sports fishing mecca for marlin, large gt's, sailfish and all species of ledge dwellers such as coral trout, snapper and amberjack.

If you wish we can facilitate trolling, switch baiting or fly fishing for sailfish and black marlin. Sailfish over 70 kg are quite common. We'll take your group popper- casting over shallow reef areas for giant trevally, spanish mackeral, cobia, and wahoo. Deep water jigging for big samson and amberjack is another possibility. It is common to catch snapper and coral trout when fishing in depths up to 100m. Light tackle trolling is popular in our waters. We troll for mackerel, wahoo and trevally on shallow reefs where big fish are available most of the year. Light tackle game fish are available all year and this is one of the best spots to catch small black marlin and sailfish.we even have a heavy weather option to catch large pelagics inside the island. October to march seem tbe best time to catch small blacks around the point at Rooney's and over the bar is usually going off. This year has seen as many as thirty bites in one day.
